Key central defender Ibrahima Sonko is set to return to the Town team as the Blues look to end their run of six successive defeats and also a winless streak of 13 games against bogey side Watford at Portman Road on Saturday. Paul Jewell’s men have gained 17 of their 20 points in the nine games that Sonko has been involved in, picking up just three in the other nine.

Town’s run of defeats stretched to six games as the Blues were thumped 4-0 at Burnley. Sam Vokes opened the scoring from a header from a corner, then Chris McCann added the second just before the break. The Irishman added his second and the Clarets’ third, before Jay Rodriguez completed the scoring.
